Which would you rather? (#2)

Would you rather LOVE your job but make little money and have little vacation time?
OR
Would you rather HATE your job but make more money and have lots of vacation time?
WHY?

I'd rather hate my job, as long as I had LOTS of vacation time. That way I would have more time with my family. On the other hand, since so much of life is spent at work, it would be nice if you loved it. - but not at the cost of little vacation, which means little family time.

Good one.

I keep going back and forth, because I LOVE vacation time, but I really don't like it when I hate my job. I think I would rather LOVE my job and have less vacation time because like you said 3PIP, you spend so much time at work that it would be nice if you liked being there. I still haven't had a job I "love", wait, yes I have, when I was a counselor at a Bible Camp. I LOVEd that one! Didn't feel like work at all =)

This is a hard one!! The problem with jobs that we hate is that usually one of the reasons we hate them is that we don't make enough money and don't get enough vacation time. . .

For me it would depend on HOW MUCH vacation time was a lot. And, if I was actually able to use that time (some jobs pretend to give you a lot of time, but then don't actually let you use it!)

Work is definitely not the main thing in life, but if I hated it so much that it made the rest of my life miserable, it might not be worth it. But, if I loved my job, but never had time for my "real life" then that also wouldn't be worth it. Ahhhh. . . I'm stumped. I am really not sure which one I would pick.

Life's too short, find both!

you could rephrase the question to be:
would you rather not work for the government or work for the government ;)

I would rather have a job I love..oh wait I do, I'm a mom :) Vacation time is great but the pay sucks :)2 out of 3 isn't bad...

On an outside job I would still have to take one that I love. If you love something it probably doesn't feel like work. If you hate it(which I have been in a job that I hated) the days seem like forever and coming off vacation and going back to work would be torchure.

The only job I can think of that I would love would be something like an amusement park critic, which is where I would like to go on vacation... So I would pick I job I loved!!!
