I guess that just proves Global Warming huh? What a joke :D
Haha, yeah, its hard to convince people in Minnesota that Global Warming exists...
And yeah, the pond was frozen enough in the middle. We skated all the way across it and no one fell in =) And he checked the pond in several spots before he let anyone skate on it! It's been pretty cold here! The ice is about 3 inches thick.
I've proven to be a Minnesota girl, through and through! I live in the twin cities which is about 3 hours from where my parents, brothers, sister-in-law and nieces, Taylor, Hannah, and Abigail live. I work full time at my job as an auto claim processor for State Farm. I love to hang out with friends have intelligent conversations about God, politics, life, whatever... I am not always an expert on the subject, but I just love to have good convo's and I love to learn what other people believe and why. My other favorite things to do are hang out with my awesome husband, Karl, my family, play ice hockey, go on trips, and sleep in on my days off. And of course, I love naps... they are seriously a form of recreation!

Probably a dumb question, but how were you SURE it was frozen enough in the middle to skate on it?

I'm soooo jealous. You have no idea the envy coursing through my body.

Come down anytime and we'll go skating... and to a Wild game! Now I have a place for you to stay, too! =)
The warming is taking place over the ice caps.......lots of scientific proof, except a few scientist.
It Does take time to convince everyone. Just ask Galileo, Copernicus, etc.
